Pinot Grigio vs. Pinot Grigio

What more can we say about Pinot Grigio that hasn’t already been said? Not a lot. The wines are approachable and incredibly drinkable on a hot summers day. This is the most hotly contested of comparisons, but we feel we have the edge. What will you think?

As a style, Pinot Grigio is usually quite subdued on the nose, however, our Regional Pinot Grigio is bursting with intense white jasmine florals, enhanced by notes of fresh grass and cumquat, the wine simply draws you in. The palate is soft, generous & with some subtle cinnamon spice finishing with a great length.

Pinot Grigio thrives in the Sortesele vineyard, situated along the Adige valley in Northern Italy. The Santi Pinot Grigio has full and complex aromas of pears, exotic fruits and wildflowers. On the palate, the wine has generous, soft but lively fruit with firm flavours, good acidity and a long finish.

Terrific little 6 pack containing 3 bottles of each of these wines. Perfect for a summer’s day. Throw a box in your cart!

Sangiovese vs. Chianti

It’s Two vs One in the fantastic battle between Australia & Italy.

We love Sangiovese and of course Chianti, the birthplace of sangiovese. Our enjoyment comes from the rustic feel of this wine style. The Regional Series Sangiovese is earthy, rich and packed full of cherry flavours and aromas, it is mouth wateringly delicious.

The San Felice Chianti is a typical medium-bodied Chianti Classico with notes of classic cherry, raspberry and slight violet. The flavour is dry, with delicate tannins and a fresh acidity, put simply, delicious.

Dating back to the 14the century, Rocca Guicciarda is one of Barone Ricasoli's most storied vineyards. This wine shows classic (fresh, sappy, graphitey) yet contemporary characters in the best sense (clean, pure, textured). Silky and sweet with subtle oak and notes of dried tea, raspberry and cherry-pit outlined by fine, polished tannins.

Tough ask for Glandore to go up against two fine Chianti’s but what do you think? 2 bottles of each wine in your cheeky 6-pack when you add it to your cart.
