Regional Series Shiraz Canberra 2013

Patiently matured in old and new French Hogsheads and Puncheons we want the oak to support, not dominate. The fruit within the matrix of this wine is both delicate and pure.

White pepper, cinnamon and clove all play a role whilst the palate remains medium bodied with great texture and structure. The sweet mid palate fruits show richness and freshness making this a very easy and approachable wine.

We think the flavours and structure of our ACT Shiraz make this the perfect accompaniment to duck. Duck doesn’t have to be an extravagant confit every time so for this wine we suggest a well-balanced duck ragu served with pappardelle.

Regional Series Savagnin Hunter Valley 2014

Savagnin is a unique wine style that we are the proud producers of here in the Hunter Valley and we are going it alone.  We have what they all want.

Originating in the climes of Jura in France this is a fantastic "old world" wine style where mouth feel takes the primary role and fruit flavour takes a back seat. Having said that, our Regional Series Savagnin is picked, fermented and stored in 100{201ff541c70e2458775113ec34b385f5e73606a4d199ae64c8a47d5e57f88afd} stainless steel prior to bottling so that the delicate fruit aromas of pear and honey blossom are well preserved.

This is a fantastic little wine that is the perfect match with Sashimi and sushi dishes.  The texture marries well with the richness of the seafood.  This wine style is best enjoyed in it's youth...so what are you waiting for!?

Black Label TPR Tempranillo 2016

Our 2016 TPR appears quite ‘soft’ in the glass. It looks more like a traditional Rioja out of Spain than an Australian Tempranillo.
The aromas on the nose are a medley of savoury spice. Fresh ground nutmeg and powered cocoa lead the way with toasty oak in support. With time in the glass we see the fruit open up and begin to shine.
The palate is quite lively with rich, intense dark fruits, grippy tannins and soft acidity on the finish. There is a ‘meaty’ intensity about this wine giving it quite a savoury edge. Good in the cellar for around 5-7 years.
With those savoury flavours we suggest a dry aged, grass fed sirloin caramelised over hot coals. Pair with charred broccolini & crusty bread.
